My full name is Marc Schwarz. I was born in El Paso, TX in 1970. Soon after, I was taken to Philadelphia
to the childrens hospital to undergo open heart surgery at only 11 months old. The birth defect I had is still a pretty common
condition but is now cured with a pill. Shortly after my recovery, the family moved to Florida where I grew up. I'll spare
you the details of my childhood.
Upon graduating high school I spent a couple of years in community college
where I truly discovered my voice and my love of public speaking, especially, stand up comedy. I attended Florida State University
School of Theater in the following years then was cast into the real world. A few odd jobs and comedy shows later, I found myself
as an announcer and psudoentertainer with the world renouned shows "Disney On Ice" & "Ringling Bros. & Barnum and Bailey Circus".
I spent 8 years traveling the world with the shows until I finally met the love of my life. We were married in August of 2001
at the Wide Awake Plantation in Hollywood, SC. We have been here in the Charleston area ever since.
Late in 2003 I managed to talk my way into an On-Air position with the burgeoning radio station, The Bridge at 1055, where I spent
the next three years honing my skills as a speaker under the guidance of longtime radio greats like John Majhor and Sam
Kopper. I also learned alot from the well known folks at 98X like "The Doctor" Mike Allen and the current morning show host
Tom Bolt.
With hundreds of radio commercial spots under my belt, I ventured off into the TV commercial
voice over arena and radio imaging with Upper Works Marketing and 950 AM "The Jock" as well as adding some national spots to my resume
through various ad agencies.
I am currently continuing my voice over career and assisting real estate professionals and
small businesses as the only distrubtor of FreedomVoice Phone Systems in South Carolina.
